178th Convention of Theta Delta Chi

The 178th Convention of Theta Delta Chi is coming to Crawfordsville, Indiana. 

Crawfordville is home to Wabash College and the Upsilon Deuteron Charge. 

The Convention will start on Thursday, July 31, 2025, and culminate with the Grand Banquet on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

Lodging:

(This information does not apply to the two required Undergraduate Delegates. Lodging has been arranged for you by the Central Fraternity Office.)

Conventioneers can stay on the Wabash Campus or at a hotel a short distance from campus. If you are arriving on Thursday and staying until Sunday, you might be interested in on-campus lodging. 

Campus Housing:

Trippet Hall: Conventioneers can stay in a guest suite in https://trippet.wabash.edu/home">Trippet Hall. Three nights in the suite can be added to your registration for $450. You can click on the link to see the welcome center and accommodations. Available until full.

Townhome: Looking for a more budget-friendly on-campus stay? Three nights in a townhome can be added to your registration for $175. These apartment-style units feature a main-floor living space, a fully-equipped kitchen, second-floor bedrooms, and a patio. Each townhome sleeps six. The townhomes are not serviced during the stay. The living spaces are shared with other Conventioneers. Available until full.

College Hall: Undergraduate attendees of the Convention in a non-official capacity can stay on campus in the same facilities as the delegates. Three nights can be purchased for $175. 

Hotel:

There are several hotels approximately a 10-minute drive from campus. Ticketing & Registration:

The base ticket for the Grand Banquet is required. This includes access to the PGL reception and Grand Banquet. 

The Full Registration Upgrade can be added to your Grand Banquet ticket. This gives access to all ticketed events and meals. In addition to the PGL Reception and Grand Banquet, the ticket includes:

Other Events:

Anyone can register & check in on Thursday at the main registration desk or find the table outside other events. 

The two General Business Sessions do not require a ticket and are open to all Brothers. Dormant Charge Alumni wanting to vote must have a Full Registration Upgrade. (By-Laws Article X, Convention, Section 13 An inactive Charge may elect one alumnus from that Charge to be a voting graduate delegate and represent the Charge despite dormant status. This delegate must be a full registrant of the Convention).

Minerva Sessions (Educational Programming) is required for Undergraduate Delegates and is open to all guests. 

Omega Service (Memorial Service) is required for Undergraduate Delegates and is open to all guests. 

All entities have meetings on Saturday. Lunch is provided. 

Travel:

On May 7, 2025, all travelers (18 and older) flying within the U.S. must present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or another TSA-approved form of identification at airport security checkpoints.

Campus Parking: The only restricted parking areas on campus are near the Community Center construction site and the college mall (no parking), as well as next to the Athletic Center and tennis center (no overnight parking).  The best locations to park during the Convention will be behind Trippet (off Pike St.), across from College Hall (off Grant St.), and the large parking lots at the corner of Milligan and Union.  Cars do not require any stickers or parking passes unless they wish to use a designated handicap space. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/wwb3xpozns5cgy2gln18f/Wabash-map-with-parking.pdf?rlkey=hyxeiyprw5k3xekm5utw0l0si&st=4kl4v2wo&dl=0">Click here for a campus map with these locations circled.
